Directors Update April 2008
7 months and counting....Hard to believe but time is marching on and the ride is getting closer. Good news is that we have over 100+ individuals registered to participate in the 2008 SMART Ride. Don't sit back and think that it is time to rest, we still need your help.
1) If you have a significant other, family, friends or co-workers, get them involved! Form a rider team or a crew team to get involved. We need over 300+ riders this year to reach our goal of $500,000 so that we can give back 100% to our benefiting agencies.
2) Can't ride or crew? Then make sure to pledge a rider or sponsor the ride. This event is an all volunteer event with no paid staff, so we cannot do it without your financial support.
3) We still need Pit Stop Sponsors and 2 meal Sponsors so if you are in a position to provide this service or want to be a Sponsor to make this happen, let David Spacht davidspacht@thesmartride.org know.
We are also working on finding out about training rides so that they can be posted on the website calendar. If you are participating in or forming a training ride let Glen Weinzimer know glen@thesmartride.org.
